I am using a simple page design so I could get out this information as fast as possible, so thanks for your understanding. It all began months before this review was left on a Google Place Page: As an attorney, avoid this shyster. Absolutely the worst attorney. He was hired to assist in the removal of a magistrate from a case of child dependency because the magistrate's mother was party to the case (in fact, the magistrate's mother was running the Children's Services Department). Attorney Corcoran failed to notify me that his wife WAS ALSO an employee of Hamilton County Job and Family Services. Corcoran agreed to file appeals and failed to do so. Corcoran failed to make any filings in the case whatsoever and allowed the appeal time limit to run out, after allowing the magistrate to delay her filing of the decision three times, and allowed all of my rights to go unaddressed. Corcoran was paid to provide these services, agreed to provide these services, and failed to do so. It takes a real criminally minded individual to take a case and screw it up like this, especially an easily won case. You have to ask yourself this question: If he was willing to do something like this for such little money, how bad would he take you for for a larger amount of money? Note: Seems to fancy himself a sort of Jerry Spence without the talent, ability or the guts. Would rate no stars if possible. Stay away from if you want to win your family law case, or any case for that matter. Please contact me for further information. You've been warned. Corcoran immediately claimed the page in an attempt to hide the review from the public. The way he behaved, you would have thought he was proud of what he hadn't done. Corcoran also agreed to a list of services for me to engage in without my consent and failed to provide service providers for those services. He also failed to address and take action against Children Services' multiple violations of my Federal Civil Rights, including failure of proper service, failure to allow me to address witnesses against me in court, failure of proper visitation, and the allowing of confessed abusers access to my child. He failed to require proper assessments (psychological, drug and alcohol, and cognitive testing) of the people who gained custody of my child at the same time agreeing to services for me to participate in. Among other idiotic things he failed to do: Failed to even get my side of the story, Addressing all or any of my rights, Meeting with the Guenthner and Henrietta Goolsby (prosecutor) and allowing witnesses to testify against me without me being present nor without having permission to do so, and being specifically told NOT to do so, Bother to get my permission for multiple items, services, and requests from the magistrate, Failure to notify me of a court date, then not attempting to contact me when I failed to appear, and worst, Siding with the person who assaulted me in our home (really, amazing the cowardice on his part). Corcoran was, in all probability, a shill attorney. He was used by Children Services to throw cases in their favor, as my father, George P Brandenburg had done in the past. Children Services used tactics such as coercing attorney when they had relatives working for Job and Family Services. In fact, Hamilton County Job and Family Services gave preferential hiring treatment to spouses of lawyers who practiced in Hamilton County Ohio. I wonder if he hid on the Public Defender list, as my father did. My father was a notoriously bad lawyer, who would do this for the slight pay of $20 to $25 an hour. Corcoran bored me to tears when he told me of his time as a tax protester when he managed to get the appropriate number of signatures to have a new tax rate in Medeira Ohio rescinded, the city council passed an emergency tax legislation, canceling his efforts. He then claimed that they condemned one of his buildings because of it. Seriously, if you own multiple buildings, why do you need the approval of the trashy Carla Guenthner? I found his story to be completely unbelievable. My guess is he had already let the building rot. His office, now looking back, was a complete joke. He wanted to give you the impression that he was a shark, when in reality he was the prey. Images of sharks were alll over the office, but the one thing that was meant to stand out was his certificate from Jerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, which apparently does not teach you how to fight for the rights of ordinary people, but taught you to ignore them. Funny thing about this "College" is that hardly any negative reviews can be found online. However, you can read about my thoughts on it here. This incident was quite amusing, and showed his gutlessness. He made me go out of my way to meet his much younger wife (who he still failed to tell me worked for Job and Family Services) I assumed he wanted to show her off, and maybe this was a credibility technique taught at the Lawyers College (who knows?). She berated him over picking up their son. Just totally humiliated him, and he just sat there and took it. Another one thing he said, he made two mentions of the "Dyke Bitches" who ran Children's Services. I'm not sure if I was supposed to be afraid of them, as I am not, or if he was setting up his wimpish behavior. All it did was offend me, and make me wonder if he was "man enough" to stand up to them. He obviously was not. I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO AVOID THIS LAWYER AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT CONSULT, TAKE ADVICE FROM, OR HAVE HIM REPRESENT YOU IN ANY LEGAL MATTER WHATSOEVER. When you need a lawyer, you are already in a difficult place. Don't hire a loser and make it worse.
